Can I put dirt and rocks in the dumpster bag?
Yes, you can put dirt and rocks in the dumpster bag. However, please note that these materials are heavy and may affect the total weight. The average client's full bag is half to 3/4ths of a ton, but bags with dirt and rocks may exceed this weight. Additional weight charges may apply based on the total weight of your bag(s).
Can I put home renovation debris in the dumpster bag?
Yes, home renovation debris is acceptable. This includes materials like drywall, wood, tiles, flooring, cabinets, and other construction materials. Please note that drywall is particularly heavy and usually weighs over 1 ton per bag. What materials are NOT allowed in the dumpster bag?
Some items cannot be dumped or may have an up-charge. These typically include hazardous materials, electronics, appliances, tires, batteries, paint, chemicals, and other regulated items. If you're unsure about a specific item, please contact us before filling your bag. We offer upfront and transparent pricing. If there are any restrictions or additional charges, we'll let you know beforehand.
How do I know if my bag will exceed the weight limit?
The first 1,000 lbs are included in every bag's price, no extra charge. The average client's full bag weighs half to 3/4ths of a ton (1,000 to 1,500 lbs). Heavy materials like drywall typically exceed 1 ton (2,000+ lbs) per bag. If you're disposing of heavy materials like concrete, dirt, rocks, or large amounts of drywall, your bag may exceed the included allowance. Overage is $100 per additional 1,000 lbs ($200 per ton). If you're concerned about weight, feel free to call or text us for guidance.
Is there a time limit for keeping the dumpster bag?
No, there is no time limit. You can keep the dumpster bag for as long as you need to fill it. Take your time and fill it at your own pace. When you're ready for pickup, simply contact us to schedule a pickup.
What happens if my bag is too heavy?
The first 1,000 lbs per bag are included. Anything over that is billed at $100 per additional 1,000 lbs ($200 per ton), based on the on-site weigh. There are no hidden fees, we'll be transparent about any overage. If you're concerned about weight, call or text us before pickup so we can provide an estimate.
